And the president trips
In his high heeled shoes
Just before breaking the news

Stay inside and lock your doors
All cultural norms are under attack
You better watch your back
Red code alert
The people are beginning to assert
Their opinions of what’s right and wrong
And what is just plain stupid

Let’s examine a raindrop from the eyes of an ant
Will it crush me if I just stand still?
Yes that’s a non-sequitor
For once let’s not read into it too deeply
Maybe just experience it completely

And hear it echo from the high-vaulted ceiling of my heart
